Agendas for County Council meetings (which includes the
Committee of the Whole) are posted on this website one week
prior to each meeting in the
E-Agenda
The public is welcome to attend.
Middlesex County Council is comprised of the mayors and
deputy mayors from each of our 8 local municipalities. The
head of county council is the Warden and is elected annually
by a vote at council.
Middlesex County currently has 8 municipalities within its
boundaries.
Each municipality elects its own Council and Mayor/Reeve.
The Mayor/Reeve is the head of the local Council.
County Council is composed of a Municipal Mayor/Reeve, and
if the number of electors is over 5,000, then the Deputy Mayor
or Deputy Reeve of each municipality would also sit on County
Council. County Council elects a Warden each December to
oversee the business of Council for the following year.
