Financial Assistance |
If granted assistance, the following
allowances may be available to eligible applicants and their
families:
- shelter costs, including utilities
- basic needs costs
- vision and dental care for dependant
children under 18 years of age
- prescription drugs
Limited assistance may also be available
for vision and dental care for adults as well as necessary
medical supplies and transportation. Find

Employment Assistance |
Participants of Ontario Works have a range of employment activities
designed for them to take the shortest route back to employment and self sufficiency.
Participation in employment assistance activities is mandatory for most Ontario Works
